Full Servicing Mechanical Watch Rates
The servicing cost varies according to complications watches have and the quality of the watch (extra precautions and brand specific steps are sometimes required). Watches with more complications basically take more time on the bench to disassemble and re-assemble. Diving, Chronograph, and high-end watches have higher water resistance and timing standards and additional brand specified steps for servicing.

Full Servicing of Mechanical Watches includes:
o Check the initial accuracy of time keeping (establish a baseline)
o Ultrasonic cleaning of case and bracelet
o Complete disassembly and inspection of each part for corrosion/wear.
o Replacement of broken/worn parts using genuine brand parts when available..
o Ultrasonic cleaning of movement.
o Re-assembly and proper lubrication.
o Regulation of timing
(Note: calibration may take a few days depending on type and quality of time piece)
o Re-casing the movement
o Water-Resistance Test ( when applicable depending on calibre )
o Generic parts such as spring bars and gaskets will be included in the overall service price,
Additional Services available:
Polishing case, watch band and crystal. $ 60.
Replacing Watch Crystals $30 (sapphire glass may be extra)
Note: High end specialty watches have a different pricing schedule due to the cost of parts and additional procedures required by the brand to service these movements.. Please call to find the specific price for your watch and whether parts are availalble. .
Quartz Watch Rates
Quartz watches vary greatly depending on the quality of the movement and service required. I normally perform a basic case cleaning with a four-point diagnostic on the watch to ensure it is running properly. An additional five points electronics inspection is performed on higher end movements.
Full Servicing of high-end quartz watches (includes cleaning, lubrication, waterproofing)
depending on complication (like chronographs). $150 - $275 – estimate will be provided
Complete Movement replacement of quartz watch $ 50 (plus movement)
( quartz movement price varies from $20 - $120 depending on calibre required for the brand of watch )
Battery Replacement
All watches are carefully opened, inspected for dirt and damage, the correct battery is used for replacement, diagnostics are run to verify integrity of movement (depending on movement it may need to be cleaned), gaskets are checked and replaced if required and then the case is properly sealed again. We repair the watches that some quick battery change sites do not perform correctly. (like incorrect battery used, gaskets missing or sticking out of case back, scratched cases)
Simple Non-water-resistant watches $ 20
Watches with water resistant backs (Breitling, Tissot, Invicta ) $ 40 - $ 65
Chronograph / Diving models (Rolex, Tag, Omega) $ 65 - $100
Luxury watches have higher cost parts and stricter procedures that must be followed.
Minimum Charge & Hourly Watch Work Rates
If watch is not taken in for a full service, there will be a minimum charge of $40 for an estimate to determine what work needs to be done. We will provide you an estimate for service and parts once the issue is determined. If service is agreed upon, the estimation fee is waived.
