We take pride in providing quality servicing of standard mechanical, automatic and chronograph wrist watches. Also quartz watches and American pocket watches.
When performing full watch servicing, it includes careful inspection of each part, ultrasonic cleaning and lubrication of movements according to manufacture's standards. Timing is adjusted on mechanical watches, and the state of quartz movements are analyzed.. We also test how watertight your watch case is to ensure it is properly protected against water damage. We can restore or replace watch crystals and optionally polish your case.
We replace watch cells (batteries), crowns (winders), water resistant gaskets and crystals (glass) and adjust wrist bands.
More extensive diagnostics can be performed if required, and more complex movement repairs..
Our workmanship is guaranteed for a minimum of one year after service.
We use the latest industry tools to analyze the condition of your quartz watch. This allows us to check for problems in specific parts such as coils, ensure time correction circuitry is operating effectively and verify if the movement is running according to brand specifications.
We can even check if debris or mechanical wear is causing excessive battery consumption which could cause your batteries to not last as long as expected..
Many places offer battery replacement, but not everyone does a great job. Come to us to get it done right the first time!
Case integrity testing is performed on your watch to ensure there are no areas where water can enter your watch case which can cause catastrophic damage to your movement.
A Proofmaster Pro testing machine is used for dry pressure testing of case integrity of up to 10 bar pressure (100 meters).. I also use a Bergeon 5555 water tester to identify where any points of ingress exist so they can be corrected..
Water resistance testing should be performed along with condensation tests, according to industry standards and the specifications of your particular watch to ensure the longevity and integrity of your time piece..
We also service American and German clocks including Grandfather (long-case) clocks.
Servicing clocks involves disassembly and ultrasonic cleaning, repairing and polishing worn pivots, repairing worn pivot holes, lubrication and regulation of movements.
For the longevity of your timepiece you should make sure it is serviced at least once every five years to avoid damage due to the abrasive nature of dried oils. Arrange a house call for your grandfather clock.
We sell vintage watches and also have a small inventory of spare parts for American and Swiss style watch movements. Contact me for more information.
We value our customers, so please email us with your questions and to arrange a visit during business hours. Bring your watch or clock for repair estimates. We perform house calls for clock repair around North Florida and South Georgia.
